I have a Mexican coworker, so I’ve eaten Mexican tacos quite often. Today, I finally came to this Mexican restaurant, and I was honestly blown away. Everything was so, so good — even compared to the tacos I’ve had before. Of course, my coworker’s homemade tacos are great, but this place is on another level. Absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place, and I’ll definitely be coming back again and again.

The taco were delicious (the meat was soooo tender and seasoned well), I especially liked the birria. I do wish it was a tad more toasted (had a bit of the soggy oil texture). My sister's quesadilla was not as good. I think the mushrooms should be cooked separately in the beginning to get some of the liquid out. It made her quesadilla very very very wet with a big puddle on her plate when she was eating. She also said she wished it was grilled a bit longer to make the outside have more texture, but not sure if it was because of the wet mushrooms sogging everything up.

Wow the food is so yum and fresh. I tried their Birria tacos and chips, one of the best I’ve ever tried. The whole female staff was so friendly and welcoming. If you don’t know anything about Mexican food they help you with suggestions from menu. It was worth trying.

An unexpected little taco shop hidden under our local overcrowded Chinese food court. Having been to LA recently, La Querida's tasty but slightly overpriced tacos can't compare to flavor packed $2.50 (USD but still) street tacos that can be found on random boulevard corners over there (heck it's not even as good as King Taco, a chain franchise), but it's a heck of a lot closer than most fancy schmancy whitewashed and bland taco joints in Vancouver (had to say it). Also our server was a really cheerful and nice!

I have had a bunch of Mexican restaurants all across greater Vancouver. I would say this is the best in town. We order the lunch combo which was a killer deal and the brirra. Everything was great even the Mexican cola is more authentic.

I ordered the asada, carnitas, and chorizo tacos. Service was very friendly and warm, and everything tasted fantastic. I think the asada was just a smidge on the dry side, but still tasted superb despite that. The various hot sauces were also great, and as much as I love spice, I found myself going for the mild and medium just as much as the hot for the flavours alone. The carnitas was the real star for me, alongside the Agua De Jamaica. Good mexican food is hard to find in Vancouver, so this is a gem for me. Definitely a staple now.

Best Mexican restaurant in the area, no doubt! Food is fantastic, the most authentic experience and great, kind service with fair prices. A must try, definitely coming back!

Wow! Absolutely blown away by how authentic this place is! Huge portions and muy Rico. We had the drowned torta, pozole and (not pictured) two Quesabirria tacos, tejuino and café de olla. Highly recommend this place. I will make the drive in from Vancouver whenever I want tacos again. I could eat here everyday. The staff were so sweet and friendly. Probably the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to in BC!
